So soon it will come to that time of year in which every child goes outside of the warmth of their home to go and demand candy of everyone in their neighborhood. And if you're a cosplayer you know what I mean when I say there comes a point in which you wonder which you actually want more: to show off your costume or just to get candy. And each year from since I was first able to, I have sewn a new costume. (not quite in order) I was a tiger, Butterfree, Flarion, Jirachi, a rabbit with a giant carrot, a deer, Mulan, Zelda, then a Link costume for my sister while I was Zelda again. Halloween has always been a memorable event for me, and you can probably tell considering I have recollections of my costumes that I've made since I was 6. And each costume was more extravagant than the previous, but I'm breaking the trend. I'm slacking, I've made a vow this year not to do any sewing for my costume. The truth is, is that I hate sewing with a passion, I'm sorry, Halloween costumes are just too awesome, however, to not sew. The lack of my sister's presence here due to college has left me with an insufficient amount of inspiration to tackle the sewing machine again. (she is super CK trained in the sacred art of hat and stuff making armed with the giant needle of pain, [link] and I'm her student: the angry seam-ripping lady equipped with the giant seam ripper of doom.)
Due to my friend being a stick of dynamite, I was going to be a match, but the thought was demeaning. Inspired by the thought of steampunk, I went closet scrounging, and ended up looking more like an elf (surprising, I know.) So there it is folks, I'm going to be The Elf From the Closet Depths, and I might post a picture. And if you're wondering what of my Zelda costume, I still have 330 pictures from my photoshoot, I might post a few of those if I ever get around to it.
Hey! Jesus loves you, don't ever forget that.

He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our sins, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
I believe in love, forgiveness, and a hope that's true, all of which are given to us through Jesus.

I also love your cosplay, keep it up!
