OMG You're a life saver... Gah, my friend and I were thinking of making an elf cozzie when we realized "Heyyy do we actually have any idea how to make elf ears?" We didn't. Now we do!

Thanks so much! If I ever find the time to do so (and if I ever get up off my butt to buy craft foam) I will certainly try this out.

Finally!!! I've been looking everywhere for a good way to use craft foam for elf ears ^^

now to figure out if I can do the same for fawn ears

Now I can tell my room mate we dont have to spend $30 on ears for our blood elves from Warcraft

Yeah, the price is what urged me to to make my own elf ears. (actually prices are what urged me to make my own costume in the first place.)

You are going into the art of modification. (hmm, I should make a "how to make your own elf ear pattern" tutorial. )

The main thing I can tell you though, is that there's a certain part that you have to leave primarily unchanged when modifing the pattern, what is labeled as the "tip" on the tutorial, you can change however you want.
And if you need help you can send me a note with a picture of exactly what you want your ear to look like and I might be able to give you some more ideas.
